Alfred and I were friends since grade school and grew up 2 blocks away from each other. One of numerous childhood memories I have is being invited over many times for dinner Sunday afternoons where I discovered the joys of sopresatta and provolone, among many other Italian specialties. Teen memories include the blue Z-28 with the white stripes, the TR-6, the Kawasaki 500 and that old Porsche 356 he was forever working on. He was at my bar-mitzvah and was best man at my wedding. I have pics of us together when my son was born. We got into golf together and it was the one sport I was better at than he was lol. We lost touch for around 20 years and then hooked up again and played many rounds of golf at Saxon Woods. A few months before he passed we had one last Sunday dinner at his mom's house and the food was just as good as I remembered. Rest easy my old friend.

Alfred was our friend from years ago. We had many good times together - lots of laughs. He was bright, funny and always seemed a step ahead of the others. We regret losing touch with him over the past years but he will always remain in our minds and hearts forever young.
