Marion and I worked for the NYS Health Department, probably in the 1980s. Ronnie Coleman joined us for several years. Our office was on the 49th floor of the World Trade Center. We ran blood pressure clinics all over the City and supported similar work throughout the state. Marion had a passion for the work, for providing services to the poorest neighborhoods where high blood pressure was undiagnosed and supports for heart health were few. She and Bill visited my farm in Callicoon Center Apple Pond Farm and I think I did some skiing at their house in Vermont. She had a fine sense of humor, a willingness to go beyond the easy work to provide more service to residents. She was my model of what a public health worker should be and do. After so many years, I still feel her smile, her laugh and will always be grateful for her friendship. It was an honor to. have known her.

Such a gracious, funny and giving woman.
I foolishly attempted to try out for the MHS Hockey team and she convinced her son Andrew to lend me his hockey gear despite his initial steadfast refusal. I didn't make the team.
Marion Robb will always be awesome.
